We also transfer the top sensor assembly carefully, because that is what Face ID depends on.
iPhone: what to know before you bring it in
- The iPhone XR, 11 and SE use LCD panels; the X, XS, 11 Pro and everything from the 12 on use OLED. The price gap between them is significant.
- If the glass is cracked but the image looks fine and touch still works, it is still a full screen replacement: on iPhone the glass and panel are bonded at the factory.

We are in the same plaza as Rinconcito Latino, right next to the auto mechanic shop. If you navigate by neighborhood landmarks, the easiest ones are Saint Kevin church and the CVS on 127th Avenue.
Parking here is easier than it looks, even when the ground lot is full. The plaza has an entire second level of parking that plenty of people have never realized is there: the entrance is behind the gas station, on 128th Avenue. If you are circling looking for a spot, go up.

Not with us. We transfer the light sensor data to the new panel with a programmer, so automatic color adjustment keeps working. Without that step, True Tone disappears entirely and never comes back in Settings.
Why does my iPhone say the display is not genuine after the repair?
It is a notice iOS has shown since the iPhone 11 for any display that did not leave Apple's factory paired to that phone, even when the panel is a good one. It does not affect touch, brightness, color or the warranty we give you. We tell you before repairing so it does not catch you by surprise.
